Brian Orkin

Mr. Orkin has three decades of experience in private equity and mergers & acquisitions focused on middle market industrial companies.  Mr. Orkin joined IGP in 2026 and is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing new investments as well as monitoring existing investments and managing portfolio divestitures.  Mr. Orkin joined IGP from Arsenal Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity investment firm that specializes in building market-leading industrial growth and healthcare companies, where he was involved in several industrial investments and served in leadership roles in the firm and its industrial growth sector.  Prior to joining Arsenal Capital Partners, he was a principal with The Anderson Group, LLC. Mr. Orkin has sat on numerous boards of directors of industrial companies during his career.  Previously, Mr. Orkin co-founded a bank holding company which acquired a national bank in Florida.  Prior to that, Mr. Orkin was a corporate finance attorney with law firms in California and Pennsylvania.  Mr. Orkin received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan, his Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law and his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
