Rob Austin
Mr. Austin joined IGP in 2010 and has over two decades of experience in private equity and mergers & acquisitions focused on niche-oriented, middle-market companies. Mr. Austin oversees the origination function at the firm, and along with the other Managing Principals, shares responsibility for all major aspects of firm management and IGP’s investment process, in addition to sourcing, evaluating and executing new investments as well as monitoring existing investments and managing portfolio divestitures. Mr. Austin joined IGP from Lake Capital, a Chicago-based private equity firm, where he was a Vice President focused on late-stage buyouts in the services industry. Prior to joining Lake, Mr. Austin spent four years at The Riverside Company, a middle market private equity firm, and three years at Harris Williams, an investment bank focused exclusively on middle market M&A. Mr. Austin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce with a concentration in Finance from the University of Virginia and his Masters of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Mr. Austin currently serves, or has served, as a director of Hydromax USA, Voltyx and North American Substation Services.
