Mr. Bhargava has over a decade of experience in private equity and mergers & acquisitions, predominantly focused on the middle market.  At IGP, Mr. Bhargava is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing new investments, as well as portfolio management of companies during IGP’s ownership.  Mr. Bhargava joined IGP in 2021 from Gryphon Investors, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, where he was a Senior Vice President.  At Gryphon, Mr. Bhargava was a founding member of Gryphon’s Heritage Fund following several years in Gryphon’s Industrial Growth Group.  Prior to joining Gryphon, Mr. Bhargava worked at Bertram Capital, a middle-market private equity firm, where he evaluated, executed and monitored investments in the Industrial and Business Services sectors.  Mr. Bhargava began his career in investment banking at Barclays Capital, where he worked on mergers & acquisitions as well as equity and debt transactions in the Industrial, Financial Sponsors and Business Services groups.  Mr. Bhargava received his Bachelors of Business Administration degree, with distinction, from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Mr. Bhargava currently serves, or has served, on the board of Double E and AEM.
