Mr. Heston has over two decades of experience in private equity and mergers & acquisitions, predominantly in the middle-market.  Mr. Heston joined IGP in 2021 and is responsible for leading the execution of new investments and the management of portfolio companies during IGP’s ownership.  Prior to joining IGP, Mr. Heston spent more than 11 years with Bertram Capital, a lower middle-market private equity firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he was a Partner focused on the industrial sector.  Prior to Bertram, Mr. Heston worked at Calera Capital, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, where he evaluated investment opportunities across a diverse range of industries.  Mr. Heston began his career in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at J.P. Morgan and the Investment Banking group at Carl Marks & Co.  Mr. Heston received his Bachelor of Science degree in Management with a concentration in Finance from Boston College and his Masters of Business Administration degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
