John Malloy
Mr. Malloy has over two decades of private equity and investment banking experience with a consistent focus on middle market privately-held companies. At IGP, Mr. Malloy is responsible for sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, leading transaction teams and working closely with portfolio company management. Prior to IGP, Mr. Malloy spent 12 years at The Edgewater Funds, a leading middle private equity firm based in Chicago. Previously, Mr. Malloy worked in the investment banking group at A.G. Edwards, where he advised clients across a range of industries on public and private capital raising and M&A transactions. Mr. Malloy received his Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in Business Administration from The University of Southern California and his Master of Business Administration, with high honors, from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Mr. Malloy has extensive transaction experience, having completed over 60 deals during his career. He has served on the boards of over ten companies, predominately in the industrial and business services sectors. Mr. Malloy currently serves on the boards of AEM, Brown Machine Group, Climax Portable Machine Tools, and Process Insights.
